Hello all Cara members

I have turned off the repeater system at Prince Frederick. 440 MHz repeater.
The digital, repeater is still running and in service.

I am now working on the 440 MHz repeater went over to the site met with the
Maryland state representative. He gave me a lot of good information as we
were talking. He said it would be a possibility to move 440 antenna to the
other leg of the tower that is facing South East. After checking the 440 MHz
antenna from 500 MHz to 200 MHz the SWR is over 3 to 1 SWR using my antenna
analyzer and after talking to Chuck and Shawn agree, but that the antenna is
not working at our frequency in the ham band. The only place I could get it
to tune was at 200 MHz band. I also found some other problems, but until I
resolve what is really happening. I am not ready to pass on info. Good news
the 2 Meter antenna seems to be working very well with and SWR of 1.3. I
also check to see if this antenna would work on 440 MHz and it did with and
SWR 1.2.

After checking some of the equipment. I am now looking for the ground bar
and wires see picture. I'm looking for Cables the orange ones that are in
this picture.

I will need the supplies to hook up our new system. If you know where they
are, please contact me ASAP. Things are moving forward, let's don't stop
now.
