[K3CAL] 2018 officers

Calvert Amateur Radio Association (CARA) is a volunteer non-profit organization.  We are a club because we enjoy getting together to pursue our common enterprise of amateur radio.  Our club is dependent on volunteers to keep the activities and services coordinated for all to enjoy and serve.  We need a few people to step up at this time to volunteer to serve for a year as association officers.  Please consider serving on our 2018 board of directors.  Or help someone else to step up by nominating him or her for an office.

Vice President
Secretary
Treasurer
Director


The positions are described in our bylaws.  




 Peter / KB3SXB, Shawn Donley /N3AE, and Steve Hempling / N3IPN. are the nominating committee this year.  Please contact one of them to accept a position or to nominate someone else.  Members in good standing only.  


And don't forget that we have many opportunities for leading or coordinating other activities such as PRAD, Field Day, MD QSO Party or other events that we do.


On another note, we decided at our last meeting to start having a club dinner on a monthly basis on Friday nights at a local restaurant.  Please let me know of restaurants that we could enjoy for an evenings entertainment.  I would like to start in mid county.  Any favorite restaurants??
