[K3CAL] New Facebook page

After multiple attempts to fix the old page which is owned by an inactive member of CARA, I have decided that it would serve the club better if a new page was created and put into the hands of our own officers and members.  


I am looking for a few members that would be interested in becoming administrators of the page.  This involves becoming a user of the page then visiting it when items and comments are added to assure that they are appropriate, to filter membership requests and approve those who  appear to be appropriate for membership (hams, family of members, other clubs members, local officials and media and such), and to remove or block inappropriate application and comments.  My experience with other pages I host that this is an infrequent task.

Feel free to post pictures from past events or ops.  Pictures of your ham shack, your antennae, your mobile rig, your go station, your latest project, or anything ham radio related is welcome.  No politics or rants, please.  I'm looking forward to seeing what you're doing and what is interesting to you.  It's our page to use to share our stories.  I'll be adding info from ARRL and MDC on occasion and from other sites that send me info.


This is in addition to our webpage k3cal.org and our newsletter which have greater circulation for now.
