The link above is for 20 amp or 15 amp household grade duplex receptacles with usb charging outlets. This is the first of these handy items that claim to have UL listing. All other I have seen in the past few years have not had any listing (dangerous) or Canadian listed (not so good).
These may have a counterfeit label, but I haven't checked yet.
This is also not a standard receptacle brand name for the US, but that may be a matter of time now. I am sure that this item is made in China, so until fully checked out don't rush out to buy!
This is such a great idea these days, and bears investigation, they are at a good price and would be useful if actually UL rated and listed.
A standard UL duplex receptacle may serve you trouble free for over 30 years, maybe longer.
You would use a 15 amp model in all but the following rooms:
Kitchen, dining room, laundry room, garage, outside. They would take 20 amp model.
They would work down stream of ground fault device or circuit.
I would not recommend for arc- fault circuits (newer circuits found in bed-rooms) unless specified ok. Probably not a good idea for outside due to condensation?
