[K3CAL] Picture of Rebar Cage for New Mt Hope Tower

I forgot I had this picture on my cell phone from when I stopped by to pick up gear for field day..  A picture of one of three foundation rebar cages for the base of the new tower at Mt Hope.  I paced out the length and it was about 70-80 ft.  Amazing to think the depth of the hole for this tower is more than the height of our own towers at the home QTH.


I think the cage diameter was about 6 ft.  If the hole is 80 ft deep, that's 84 cubic yards of concrete, or about 8 full concrete trucks per hole.
