[K3CAL] CARA Fall Elections - Nominating Committee Looking for Interested Candidates

I’m glad to report that as of this evening’s board meeting we have a slate of officers that will stand for office for 2017.  This is not to preclude any nominations from the floor at the next meeting.

 

The folks who volunteered to run are:

 

President  David Hardy  KB3RAN

Vice President Bill Hackett N3XMZ

Secretary Ron Byzet WA4PRR

Treasurer  Dick Ratcliffe W3RBR

Steve Hempling N3IPN

 

Keep soliciting nominations.  I will send an email tomorrow to get folks to nominate their friends (enemies) for offices.  Hopefully we will have others get interested in serving.

The nominating committee must report by Oct 1st, 6 days from now.

I know it seems like we just did this, but CARA fall elections will occur at the November General meeting and you nominating committee (N3AE, N3XMZ and N3IPN) is looking for interested candidates.  We need to report to the CARA Board by October 1st.

 

Additional nominations may be made at the October Regular CARA meeting after which nominations are closed.

 

If you are interest in running for any of the five officer positions, let one of us know what position(s) you wish to be considered for by September 30th.
