[K3CAL] Any oscope and signal analysis experts?

If you are not sending too much power, a dummy load can be built using CARBON resistors. Wire wound resistors are more reactive as the frequency increases. A few years ago (Ok, more like 25 years ago), I put together a dummy load that gave a good resistive load up thru 6 meters using 100 5 watt carbon resistors. Total cost for the project including case was under $15.00 (doubt I could do the same today, but it would still be inexpensive). It worked well until I left it at ham radio meeting.
Food for thought.

Looks pretty good. If you have a tone generator, you can get a better display of the peaks and valleys. Some guys whistle a tone, but I wouldn't do too much of that on an antenna.73,

I have gotten great reports on my audio with amplifier...but as a learning exercise...I connected my oscope to my rf output to see what my signal looked like..in some cases with no amplifier..it looks like my audio flat tops. But I don't know how to correct that with my ftdx 3000. Here is a video of the audio sampled with amplifier putting out 600 watts. And a freeze Fram pic that does look good.
One thing that I'm not sure about is if I have my oscope settings correct...as I really have know idea what I'm doing lol. Hopefully you can see some of the settings in the freeze frame. I'm connected to an unused antenna output (antenna #2)on an ameritron atr 30 tuner and transmiting on antenna 1. Basically just using the coupling effect to sample the rf..with out having to make or buy an rf sampler.
What do you all think?
