Yes,it could be slow so we will just have to try it and see what the delay is, if no longer than the echolink delay, I think we can live with it. Remember I would have to find another member willing to dedicate and maintain an expensive radio, wires x, antenna, pc and internet connection, for the enjoyment of other people on the repeaters. Don't want to scare anybody away by adding microwave or mesh to the program. Yaesu people are not recommending attaching wires x to the repeaters at this time, until a hardware mod is done by Yaesu. $$$ ? Don't know, but downtime for repeater 5 to 6 weeks plus if backed up. Still need internet at site, wifi may not be reliable or fast enough. I really dont remember anyone actually saying we will get internet in PF only we may look into it. Seeing today they are building a new pad, next to the existing shelter, nobody seems to know what this will be, might be SMECO, that was
8 radios as I remember, and 8 spaces have been marked up in our shelter so this may become an RF factory. Glad we got in early, hope we can stay???
