I was checking my APRS screen this morning to see what was going on when
I noticed a balloon over Eastern North Carolina cruising at around 38000
feet.  After doing a bit of research I discovered this balloon was
launched from the UK earlier this month and has traveled across Asia,
the Pacific Ocean, and, as of 11:26AM, has exited the coast of North
Carolina on it's way back to Europe.

The balloon entered the continent in Oregon and swooped south[0] across
the U.S.  Full details on the project are on the Bristol SEDS site[1]
and include details of the flight, communications systems used, and
callsigns to look for.
