I would like to thank everyone who attended yesterday's lunch down at 
the Drum Point Club.

I had my eyes opened to a lot of things that I didn't know about, or 
didn't really care about, having missed most of the history personally. 
I didn't realize that that history could so deeply affect the way things 
are viewed by the members who've been there the longest. I'll keep this 
in mind as I perform my duties in the future.

I also think most of you have a deeper understanding about where I'm 
coming from and will take a more understanding view when I make 
mistakes, as I'm sure I will. My heart is with the club and I'll be 
happy to talk to anyone about any issues they have with something I've 
said or done.

If you couldn't attend, I'm truly sorry you missed it, It was a 
beautiful day there on the water!
