To All, 

CARA's oldest member, Chris Kirby, KB3CLG, will celebrate her 90th 
birthday on March 29, 2016. We are planning to celebrate Chris at the 
CARA Breakfast on March 19, 2016, at Trader's Restaurant in Chesapeake 
Beach. I have reserved 25 seats as of yesterday, but I would like to 
get a firm headcount before the breakfast so that Trader's can be ready 
to seat us as we arrive. 

Please send me email to let me know if you plan to attend the breakfast 
and let me know if you will be bringing a guest. The reservation is set 
for CARA's usual time of 9 a.m. 

I will also be bringing a cake to the restaurant and storage containers 
just in case you don't want to pile birthday cake on top of a plate of 
eggs and bacon. I have also ordered a lightly gold tinted beveled 
acrylic display piece with Chris's full name and CARA's best wishes to 
be engraved on it. I am awaiting a proof from Lighthouse Engraving in 
Prince Frederick before they engrave the finished product. 

I will also be circulating a birthday card for your signatures and 
sentiments to Chris. 

This breakfast will be a special gathering because we don't often get to 
know and honor people who have reached this remarkable a milestone. 
Chris's husband Don (KR3A) is our SECOND oldest member, our longest 
serving member, and the trustee of the repeater. Please come to honor 
both of them as an integral part of CARA.
