[K3CAL] New Repeater Checkout

I don't know who you ask. And got zero cooperation with. But maybe you should have thought of that before trashed them and their abilities. I am sure there were reports back to the executive board which you were on. And reports to the monthly meetings which you made No record of. Thank God you only have four more meetings this year.

The cable at the rear was removed because it was bad.
If you check with last year's repeater committee there was other issues as well

Thanks for letting us know that the PF repeater is down.  Any member can ask questions and receive an answer!

During the antenna work, the new repeater was temporarily installed for testing.  We ran out of time to complete the testing, so the old repeater was put back in service.

We found that the old repeater was not in the best shape.  One of the rear panel N connectors and its internal cable were missing!  A make-shift cable was routed out of the case through a gap in the repeater cover.  Once we retire the old repeater, this kludge will be corrected.

The old repeater was placed back in service.  It was fully operational.

I drove by the repeater site today on the way to the farm 7/16 /2016 I notice the 440 antenna is leaning away from the tower. As repairs been made yet. If so, the antenna is not straight. Also, the 440 machine is not working. Did not see anything on reflector about machine being down. Is this the new repeater or the old repeater?????? if it's down how long will it be down ?????

I hope is a member I can ask these questions see nothing on reflector about it.

After lunch at Mt. Hope today, Steve / N3IPN and I put the new repeater into a dummy load at the club station and checked it out.  The repeater works very well now that all the parameters are set properly!  

We are now working on programing the Arcomm controller.  We have download the Arcomm setup software, and have backed it up.   Now, we are interfacing a PC laptop to the controller to make it easier to program it.  We will keep everyone informed of our progress.  73,
