This is not a workshop of Elmer's but it could be! If you would like to
learn more about APRS Position and Messaging; or care to share your
knowledge and experience please consider joining us. This shop may lead to
other functions of these (FT-1D & FT-2D) radios, including firmware
upgrades, programming, micro sd cards, groups, pictures, and wires x if the
group desires. If you are thinking of getting one of these radios (while
FT-1Ds last), get hands on experience before a major purchase!
They have been questions of doing the same with the 400s also(to follow
later) and maybe the 100s if anyone has one. Might even extend to
understanding the function and programming the fusion repeater......Sky is
the limit! All it requires is your valuable time.
I will leave RSVP open and I will make arrangements to secure a room for us
at Mt. Hope Community center. I will keep all informed as to the progress.
Thank you. k3uga, Sent from my iPad, Best Regards, 73, Jim Tetlow
