[K3CAL] JT 65

There was a thread on my PODXS 070 group about using JT 65.   I downloaded
JT 65 HT and made my first contact this afternoon to CA.  It's an
interesting mode for those who are using digital comms.  It is slower and
maybe not as interesting as some of the other modes but it is made for
cutting through the background noise and getting a signal through using low
power.  I was hearing South Africa later this afternoon for the first time
but couldn't make the contact.  I will play with this in FL from a picnic
table.

 

If I get proficient with is, I will make a presentation in the spring about
it.  

 

Camper is packed.  Ready to go in the AM.
