[K3CAL] Mt. Hope Repeater

Yesterday, we experienced two lock-ups of the repeater following the installation of the new controller and new rack in the Mt. Hope shelter on Wednesday. Bill / N3XMZ and I checked the installation following the first lock-up. Following a second lock-up while we were testing, we installed the back-up DR-1 repeater in the rack. It is operational in both analog and digital modes. 


The DR-1X repeater and the Arcom Controller and its programming will be tested to find the cause of the lock-ups. The PA co-channel repeater is suspected to be a possible cause of our problems. (It has been heard in our area due to band conditions.) We will keep you informed on our progress. 73,
