[K3CAL] CARA Nominating Committee Report & August 18 Elections

The CARA nominating committee, N3AE, N3XMZ and N3IPN nominate the following members for consideration in the upcoming special election based upon interest expressed to the committee by these individuals since the August 4th CARA meeting. 

PRESIDENT 
Dave Hardy, KB3RAN 
Dave Weaver, W3PQS 

VICE PRESIDENT 
Bill Hackett, N3XMZ 
Dave Weaver, W3PQS 

DIRECTOR (If vacant based on election of president or vice-president) 
Bill Hackett, N3XMZ 
Jim Tetlow, K3UGA 
Dave Weaver, W3PQS 

Per the CARA By-Laws other individuals may be nominated or self-nominated at the Special Meeting on Thursday, Aug 18th. We encourage other CARA members to consider running for open positions. 

Elections will occur at the CARA Special Meeting, 7:30pm, Thursday, August 18 at the County Services building where we have our monthly meetings. 

Since there are two or more members running for the open positions, vote will be by ballot per the By-Laws. 

"Voting shall be by ballot when there are two (2) or more candidates for President, Vice President, Secretary or Treasurer or 
the At-Large Director. An open vote may be taken for any candidate who is unopposed."
