No signal change here in Waldorf. I’m still getting a signal strength of S3.

To all,

This morning, I connected with the new repeater at 444.950. Starting from about 5 miles north of Prince Frederick, I was able to speak with N3PPH and W3PQS the ENTIRE LENGTH of the County. There was some noise north of Solomons Island, but the repeater was still understandable. I signed off when I reached the South Engineering building at NAS PAX.

To everyone, who helped get the repeater upgraded, THANK YOU. It makes the ride to work more pleasant being able to hold a QSO for my entire trip.

Today we connected the repeater at the Prince Frederick tower. At this time we have not tuned the system and the output from the duplexer is 11 watts, we just transplanted the equipment. We still would like to know if you can use it. Please try it when you can.

A big thanks to Jim K3UGA, Chip K3AWD and Dave W3PQS for spend the morning and part of the afternoon getting this running. Jim ran the grounds so the equipment is safe
