Hello all

A recent overheard QSO lead me to a couple of web site that may be 
of interest to those of you using digital modes.

It seems that the current ARRL band plan change proposal has alarmed 
some amateur radio operators. Below are some links to sites with 
information . Janis AB2RA is very vocal about the proposal and 
has some information on her website about how the proposal 
would in her opinion negatively affect HF ham radio.

In a nut shell there is concern that the suggested band changes are being 
made to accommodate wide band digital email services for vessels at sea.
A service that is already available on commercial bands for a fee would now
be allowed on ham bands. This would obviously make a crowded band even
more congested.
