Congratulations to all our new Extras, and for those who have not tested yet, do it soon. 

It's YOUR achievement. My class hopefully helped, but it was your dedication and diligent study that made it happen.

Another four new Extra Class hams hit the street this afternoon. Ed, Steve, 
and I ventured up to Davidsonville for our test, this morning, and took our 
exams. Mr. Brown (the ham from Upper Marlboro) was also there taking his 
test. Four out of four came out successful. Add Chip and Dave to the mix and 
you've got six new Extras from the class! 

I've done a lot of reading and studying but I have to say that the Extra Class 
class that Shawn taught pushed me over the edge. I really appreciate him 
spending his Tuesday nights helping us learn this stuff. I am also thankful 
to everyone who was in the class that asked questions and helped us all 
understand.
