[K3CAL] what if ...

It doesn't mention retesting.  Just that the conditions in the license are still met.  In my humble opinion.  We do the same thing when we renew our licenses.  Personally, I would hate to have to retest.  


On another note, when I had my nursing license, I always feared having to take Nursing Boards again for the same reason.  We just had to take continuing credits, though, to keep our licenses;  and to renew every few years.

This page shows that in the UK you have to re-validate your amateur 
license after 5 years. How many of us could pull that off now? I am glad
