The Waldorf Radio Shack is a mere shell of the original store. They do sell 
some items in the "bins" and
some stuff on the shelf. About 1/2 of the store is cell phone items. I guess 
it's better than nothing at all.

Thought you might be interested in an article about Radio Shack in The
Calvert Recorder on Wednesday, Dec 2.  It read like a press release.
The manager of the Radio Shack in Lexington Park is advertising that the
store is "alive and well."  His and the other store in Waldorf are
corporate owned; the Lex Park store is in St. Mary's Square and the
Waldorf store is at 3322 Crain Hwy in Shopper's World.

The two independent stores are the Boyd King one in Prince Frederick
(duh!) and La Plata TV and Appliance.  Other locations are in Clinton
and Fort Washington.

Also wanted to let you know that I expect to have the CARA newsletter
done before the end of December.  Illness has kept me from making my
promised schedule in November.  I'll combine the photos from the P.F.
Antenna project with the upcoming ones I plan to take at the
Holiday/Christmas party on December 12.

I hope to see a lot of you at the party.  Please comb your hair so you
look pretty in the newsletter.  No YAESU hats will be photographed.
