[K3CAL] New Henry C100D30R UHF Repeater Amplifier | eBay

[Chuck Shefflette - AA3CS]

The amp sounds almost too good to be true at $450 - list from Henry is $825. Also, it needs 30w drive to output 100w, we are running the Yaesus at about 20W based on Yaesu's recommendation for long term reliability. This means that we can only expect 75-80w out of the amp since it has about 5 dB gain. I'm not opposed to the purchase, just question whether it makes sense until we know what the non-amplified coverage will be at the new site.
