Dave,
The tuned frequency for this EBay amplifier listing is 463.225 MHz.
It may be a stretch to bring it to get it to operate on 449.950 MHz.
Maximum output is 100 watts, or barely 3dB over what the present Yaesu
machine produces (if my facts are correct).
However I am certainly no expert.
Since you think it is worth pursuing, I will donate (send me a separate
message to ezumstein at comcast.net or call me Sunday at my listed number).
The listing ends on 8/22.
I am now just leaving on an airline trip and will have very limited
availability for communication. The company frowns on me using email while
airborne. :)

Hello Cara members
I was looking on eBay today and found this item. Normally these amplifiers
cost $600 looks like he can pick this one up for about $ 400 maybe $425 at
the most $450 It may need a little tuning but it was purchased for the ham
bands.
It was brought to my attention that I should not be purchasing things like
this without prior permission from the Association.
So I will not be purchasing this even though we could use it. By next
meeting this will be gone.
Maybe if somebody would like to pick this up we can have a special meeting
to vote on it? Or maybe we can work it out another way I don't know?
I know we have not had a fundraiser or other donations to the club for this
type of equipment. Or was it put in the budget if anybody has any ideas how
to get something like this please let me know Dave W3PQS
