I'm sure some of you knew Rick KK4GV.  I am sorry to pass along this news.

It is with a heavy heart that I pass on the news that Rick Creager,
KK4GV,
became a Silent Key Monday afternoon. Rick was a long-time club
member,
mentor, and outstanding ambassador for the Amateur Radio
community.

You'll recall his excitement about retiring to the Pacific coast
of Ecuador,
finally making the move in early March. He came into his house
yesterday
shortly after noon and told Jennifer he was having chest pains. He
collapsed
before they could head to the local hospital. Emergency help arrived
quickly,
but there was nothing that could be done. He was 61.

this
difficult time. I'll pass along more information as it becomes

Godspeed Rick. You will be missed.
