I have had a very difficult time finding the mini din 6 and the mini din 8
in a pre-wired open ended cable for the accessory ports found on many
of the modern day rigs.
I then recalled that the old school Apple computer printer cable or modem
cable is a 8 pin mini din. I found one here in my shack from another life time,
cut off one end and found that it has all 8 of the conductors in the cable.
I pinned-out the wires, made up my circuit ... and it works GREAT!
It looks like the PS2 Keyboards and mouse cables may work for the
6 pin mini din.
SO if your throwing out key board or mouse or old apple gear during
spring cleaning, take a moment to cut off the cords they may make
great interconnect cables.
