As the article notes, this "fix" won't really keep your computer secure 
since the patches are for a different version of Windows that is, 
traditionally, only being used for certain missions.  Any vulnerability 
out of scope for those missions will likely not receive a patch.  Add on 
to that the fact that Windows XP hasn't kept current with any of the 
latest SSL/TLS ciphers or protocols, among other security-based 
technologies, and you end up with a system that isn't really ready for 
2015.
