[K3CAL] Volunteer Radio Operator Opportunities - Race Events

To All,
 
As the Public Service Volunteer Coordinator for the Anne Arundel Radio  
Club, I have several events that need additional volunteer radio operators.  
This is a good chance to hone your operator skills during an event.
 
The events are:
 
Annapolis Run for the Lighthouse Half & 5K Race, 28SEP14 at Quiet  Waters 
Park
 
TRI FOR THE CHEASAPEAKE & Duathon, 28SEP14 at the Smithsonian  
Environmental Research Center
 
If you can't make it on 28SEP14, then we have another race, the Metric  
Marathon at Southern High School on 5OCT14.
 
We will be using a simplex frequency on 2 meters. A handheld transceiver is 
 all you need. If you are interested in any of the races or need more
