The Delmarva Amateur Radio & Electronics EXPO and ARRL Delaware State Convention is one month from today...Saturday October 4th, at Sussex Tech High School in Georgetown, Delaware. Plan on lots of Ham radio fun...don't miss this one! 

Tailgating...gates open at 6:00 AM. Doors open at 7:30...indoor vendors include BIG names like Ham Radio Outlet, Hamsource.com, Quicksilver Radio, and The RF Connection. 

Other highlights include the ARRL State Convention (guest speakers Atlantic Div. Director Bill Edgar N3LLR and Vice Director Tom Abernethy W3TOM), QSL card checking, license testing, great food, FREE Door Prizes, and a Chinese Auction featuring lots of Ham Radio equipment. 

Fantastic raffle prizes include a 6.5 Horsepower 4 KW generator; an Asus Transformer Book with Intel Quad-Core Z3740/1.33GHz Processor, 2GB Memory, 64GB SSD, 10.1" Touchscreen, Windows 8.1 with Microsoft Office; and, a Parrot AR.Drone Elite Edition Quadricopter with on-board camera. These are great prizes! 

Forums include programs on APRS with Bob Bruninga W4APR; Grounding; Solar Power Applications; and, Mentoring New Hams. Also featured is a special session on "The Power Grid" presented by the Delaware Electric Co-Op.
