[K3CAL] Prince Frederick Repeater Update

Today I took the few minutes to gather the rest of the information needed to submit our application for the tower space in Prince Frederick.  The committee that reviews these requests meets next Tuesday so I'm assuming we'll hear something shortly there after.  

During the special meeting several questions came up that I did not have answers for.  Here are answers to some of those questions:

1. Will we need to provide our own rack?
Yes.

2. Will we need to provide our own lightning protection?
Yes.

3. Will we need to provide our own feedline support inside the shelter?
No.  Cable trays exist in the building.

4. What about electricity?
120V AC is provided in the shelter and is on generator backup.

5. What are the requirements for tower climbers?
They must be certified and bonded.

6. Can we piggy back on your install of repeater antennas?
Do you really want to wait that long?

I've sent some planning information to Jim K3UGA and I suspect he'll have some new numbers to work with soon.  I'm still trying to find feedline at a better discount.  If we're good to go I might be able to pick up antennas on my way back from South Carolina just after Thanksgiving (or sooner if needed).
