[K3CAL] CRE 5K Memorial Day Race

We just had the last pre-race meeting with CRE race committee this evening.  There will be 3 water stops including the start/finish line.  We have 4 operators committed at this time for the stops.  There is still an opportunity for other operators to come out and have some fun and help man the radios and get a bit of practice doing net ops.  
 
Looks like there might be 40 or so runners/walkers for this first time event to benefit the Orphaned Wildlife Rescue Center.  Tours of the center will be offered at the end of the race.  In fact, the race goes right by the facility.  

If you are interested in running or helping to operate at this event, we will be meeting by the CRE AirPark at 0700 on Monday morning.  Or send me an email and I'll get you the directions to the parking area.

Thanks Jim, Les and Jack for taking the time to come to the meeting tonight.  I think our input helped them understand how we can help them with their race.
