Hello: Calvert Amateur Radio Association Inc. member

 

Field day will be held at the Calvert County Museum 14 200 Solomon's Island
Rd. S. on the main stage.

Saturday, June 28 and Sunday, June 29. We will need volunteers to help set
up on Saturday morning about 7 AM and take everything down on Sunday about 2
PM.

We will be running 3 alpha this year plus a gota station. We will also have
a VHF station for talk in using the Cara K3CAL repeater.

We will be talking about the details at the next meeting this is always a
special event and we have lots of fun. I would like to thank Les KH6CUJ for
taking on our menu and cooking for this event.

We will be needing the following items

1.      Cable RG8 or better about two pieces  150 feet each

2.      HF radio with tuner.

3.      Wire antenna for HF bands

I am sure things will be following as we get closer to field day please do
not miss the next meeting.

I will attach some pictures of the stage area where we will be holding field
day.
