Subject: [K3CAL] Yaesu Digital Radio Work-Group

Attention all CARA, ARES, RACES members and others.

I am sending this out to everyone to get an idea of how many would be interested in having a Digital Radio work-group for the Yaesu radios. I would like to have an idea of how many there may be before anything fancy gets set up.

To start let's make an email thread, Keep the subject YDR Work-Group and send me your email address if you are interested in the group (can still participate if you don’t yet own a radio) I will compose the group members and include everyone in the first group email; reply with questions , procedures etc. to the latest email; that way everyone on the list can see everything. If the group gets big enough we can make a special bounce somewhere that we may all get in; I am shying away from Yahoo and Google right now but we shall see.

So if there is interest just shoot me an email to k3uga at comcast.net I will send you conformation and you will see all that are on the mailing list. from there we will set up a first eyeball meeting to discuss the radios and how often and where we shall meet.

This is open to all persons; Members, county residents or not; hopefully they would be in talking distance simplex or repeater to participate.
