Some OO info sent to me.

If you never heard of K1MAN then you are lucky. 

He was fined by the FCC for broadcasting and causing interference on the ham bands.

It took OO’s and the FCC several years to document his broadcasting and eventually his prosecution.  

He is a real piece of work.







OOs in the Orange section are checking on a report of jamming to a 440 machine.



We’ve received several reports that K1MAN is on the air again on or around 14280.



A Western Washington amateur who is not an OO continues to report often on jamming and interference he hears on 3840 along the west coast.



OOs in the northeast continue to check out a report of jamming on 3955.



Michigan OOs were alerted by their OOC to monitor a reported interference problem on a local repeater.



Received more reports regarding operation on 14313.



Laura Smith at the FCC followed up with a suggestion regarding local 2 meter repeater interference in South Carolina that had been sent to her and was awaiting information by the local club.



What was first thought to be some type of beacon on 10 meters by a number of hams along the east coast was later identified as an Iranian Over the Horizon Radar; it was reported to the European authorities.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jn4_gh3rIk4&feature=youtu.be
