[K3CAL] Volunteers needed for 5K Race/Run/Walk in Chesapeake Ranch Estates.

There will be a 5K (3 mi) road race/run/walk in Chesapeake Ranch Estates on Monday Memorial Day May 26th starting at 8 AM.  It will be completed by 10AM followed by an opportunity to visit the Orphaned Wildlife Rescue Center which is the benefactor of this race.  We should time to have lunch and do a debrief after the event at a local restaurant.   We would meet at 0700 for pre race briefing and assignment.
 
Marty Greenbaum is race director (410-326-2891) for more details on the race if you know of runners or others who would like to participate.  The course will be mostly on gravel/paved roads with one leg on grass. It starts and ends near the CRE airport.
 
We are looking for radio operators at the start/finish and for 2or 3 water stops.  A rover would be nice.  I have the net control and race director and one water stop covered so far.
