Good evening CCARC,

Wanted to send everyone an update, and reminder that we will be holding our next meeting next Friday, March 7th, and we will also be holding our next test secession on March 1st.

At the meeting we will have a presentation by Rick Creager, KK4GV.  Rick will be down to discuss his Flex Radio system and a DX-pedition to the island of Dominica.  His story was relived in the October 2013 edition of the ARRL's QST magazine, and was quite an interesting read.  Rick did a wonderful job of describing of the challenges with operating in a remote island as well as some of the fun stories and situations he encountered on his journey.

Should be a very fun presentation from a local ham in the area!

The meeting space is located in downtown LaPlata Just off of Rt. 6.
