[K3CAL] Some Retires Get High during the week.

Fall arrest equipment (yes, I had the gear with me) is for working while ON a tower, not in a basket with solid steel railing up above the waist. In the basket, particularly with two people, the arrest gear and tie-ins would just become a movement hazard. 

But...in retrospect, I did wish the helpers below had some hard hats on. With just ball caps below, had to take extra precautions with the tools and hardware above. You can't see it very clearly in the picture, but the beam was secured to the basket with multiple slings and carabiners until it was bolted to the mast. We finished the job with not even a cut tie wrap falling to the ground.

i noticed nobody is wearing proper fall protection equipment........not even a lightning arrestor should a bolt come out of the sky & bonk them on the head.

Yes, let it be known that some of the CARA members that are now retired from the work force, get HIGH during the week; while others stay on the ground and take pictures! Whatever the call, we all have fun! All those complaints come from smiling faces!
