Jim was good enough to send this to me for CCARC guys but from the emails I have been getting it looks like many are missing their numbers.

Bob,  

If you mean the spotters class that was held in Prince Frederick last December 12 2013;

many of the attendees didn't get  the email with their spotter number. A snafu with the email systems may have classified these as SPAM and did not pass through filters.

 

Contact Kevin Witt at NOAA, by phone or the email address below; give the class date of course and course, he will look up your information in database and give you your spotter number. In the email you may want to include your name, address and zip code, phone number at home address you can be reached on, and good email address.

 

Your spotter number is tagged to your home address (grid area) for reporting conditions to NWS or net control. If you are mobile (out of state/ town) not at your home address, when reporting conditions to net control or NWS, be sure to state you are not at home, and where you are located. This is very important to remember.
