I am sorry if I caused confusion, I usually do. $599 final price is for the FTM-400DR.
The TMF1DR is much less than that:

HRO silver $389.00 1100 ma battery
HRO  black $399.00 1100 ma battery

Price does not reflect rebate from Yaesu. ($40.00)

Sometimes a radio purchased direct from China or elsewhere out of country may be a "gray market" item. Same radio same quality but different market. Manufacture may not honor warranty or repairs in US. I see this very often with camera lens. I would take a chance with a $50 item, maybe not so with a $300 item, anyway your call.
