The Anne Arundel Radio Club is in dire need of operators for the Rosayville 
 50K Race on November 9th. This is not an ARES event but a club event in 
support  of the Annapolis Striders. The club supports 6 Strider Races during 
the  year.

Subj: 2013 Nov 09 -  Rosaryville Vets Day 50K Race - HELP NEEDED



QST,  QST, QST de W4ATN 
The  Rosaryville 50K race is less than 3 weeks away and we need operators! I
’d like  a cadre of at least 20 operators but need at least 15 (who can 
stay the entire  race). At the present I have ONLY FIVE operators. 
If you  are able to participate please email me ASAP along with equipment 
you may be  able to bring. Given the terrain we will not use bikes and 
therefore no APRS.  I would like 3 packet stations (Med Stations X 2, Command X 
1). Given the size  of the park and the terrain we may also have a portable 
440 repeater and / or  cross band repeater.  
I have  limited time to put this together as I’m leaving next Tuesday 29  
October through 03 November and working 2 Twenty-four hour shift the  week I 
return.  
I plan  on opening this up to PG ARES, PG REACT and others on Saturday 
unless I get a  sufficient number of people in the next 2 days. 
I’d  appreciate a no if you are unable and a maybe if you’re not sure.
