Hello CARA members,

 

I was asked to put an e-mail together after our discussion at this month's
meeting.  There was a lot of discussion about the support for the new
antenna and cable with the Polly phaser that were installed at the Mount
Hope tower.  Back in July of 2012 when the discussion about installing the
equipment at the tower site and the cost to the Association, a number of
individuals offered to help support this effort.  The work has been
completed, and the Association has fronted the money for this work.  To
date, no donations have been received from those who pledged their support. 

 

The Association and the executive board approved to make the payment of
$800.  If you would like to support this effort, please make your donation
to Calvert Amateur Radio Association at P.O. Box 306 Huntingtown, MD, 20639,
