Thanks to all for putting together this afternoon, planning and teaching; h ad a great time and learned a lot how to do some new tricks with wiring coax and  making antenna that  may yet, catch  a fox.

Also,  with some real assistance from veterans,  I can now plug  into CARA's repeater  with my old HT and a "2 meter mag"  and work mobile -  from way down here at the "south end of  the county.

Dave even thinks my HT and "fox antenna" will get into the repeater from Solomons, that'll be something!

Later this evening, n ice to hear on the repeater the brand new "tech" HAM (as of Feb 28th)  service member from Hawaii who is moving to Pr. Frederick - look forward to welcoming him back to MD and into  CARA .

Subject: [K3CAL] Antenna Project - Fox Hunt

Hello All

Today we held the Fox Hunt Antenna Build Project at the
Mount Hope Community Center and it was a huge success!

14 club members showed up to join the project. They built and tested
13 fox hunt antennas out of PVC pipe and tape measures

The good news is it was A LOT of fun!
The better news is I have material left over to
build a few more antenna's!

If anyone wants to build this antenna let me know. Contact me
at kb3wfv at yahoo.com.

A big THANK YOU to everyone that participated !

Stay tuned for details about the upcoming Fox Hunt and your
chance to win $50.00
