Hi Dave,
Just so you know....I forwarded the new location info to Jim Cross and Jim & Wanda Montgomery. They will be making the rounds of FD sites, starting in the eastern shore. We're #14 on their list of 17, so we may or may not see them if they tucker out.

Subject: [K3CAL] Field Day Final
All,
I'm sure by now, all that are participating in Field Day this weekend know that the venue has changed due to circumstances beyond our control. Due to stage repairs that were delayed due to recent weather, the location will be at the Corbin Pavilion at the back of the museum.
As disappointing as this is, I have taken time to consider the root of what Field day is about. Beyond the food and the fun of radio, it is about setting up and operating in less then optimum conditions. Emergency communications is also a root of our association. These two things go hand-in-hand.
Though we prepared and planned for our setup on the main stage, there has been a sudden change just prior to the event leaving us no time to make formal plans collectively. We will go in with our previous plans, and will adapt to the conditions given. This is emergency communication. If we truly believe what we say, that we are able to provide assistance during emergencies, then we will put together a successful event, even if we have to change our station class, etc. to make it work. We will also use this as an example to our visitors that this association can adapt, and deploy, and do it quickly.
I have attached a picture showing the location of the pavilion in relation to the museum, with text.
Though we will be able to pull vehicles into the area of the pavilion, the space is limited, and should be mostly used for loading and unloading, with parking in the museum lot, or perhaps the large lot across the road from us.
I look forward to seeing you all there tomorrow!
73,
Dave/N3TZO
