The CALV EOC will be activated in STAND-BY mode today at 1400-Hours (L) for
upcoming weather event.  

 

NWS SKYWARN will be activated in REPORT mode at 1400-Hours (L) today.

 

Depending on the severity of the storm this afternoon will determine further
action.  Listen to the Sunderland Repeater, 146.985 MHz, throughout this
afternoon.  

 

*       Fill your vehicle will gasoline prior to storm.

o   If roof shingles do come off homes remember the roads will be a hazard
with roofing nails causing flat tires.  Exercise caution driving in such
conditions.

*       Have family and property secured in safe condition prior to making
yourself available for any comms.

o   Secure lawn furniture and other loose item at your home for expected
high winds.

*       Stay Shelter-in-Place unless asked to report to a specific location.

*       Continue to monitor repeater for information.  And keep repeater
available as much as possible during STAND-BY mode.

*       Prepare for the Worst, Hope for the Best
