[K3CAL] Icom 735; Icom Service for older radios discontinued

I called SAR Technical Service (for Icom) in Michigan; Matt Adraine 
informed me that he was no longer able to provide technical support for 
older Icom radios.

I then checked the Icom America site and found that they also do not
provide technical support for any older Icom befor 1999!!!

I found another site, MTS ham Radio Repair, that acknowledged the recent
Icom service withdrawal, but indicated that he was attempting to cope with
this development and continue to service the older Icom's.

In the category of good news, Matt Adraine told me that the Icom 735
required a jumper connected at the back of the radio; I am reasonably
confident that this will solve my problem.  I plan to visit the club shack
tomorrow (Wednesday) and try it out.
