Does the fact that I own and operate some of the same 
equipment that is in the museum, make me old ???

the next time we go for a visit with the in-laws

Very nice museum, but makes me feel old.  


When I was a kid, I had one of those Gilbert chemistry sets they had in the glass case.  Came complete with a 2x2 sheet of asbestos to sit the alcohol burner on so you wouldn't scorch mamma's table top.  I suspect any number of chemicals in the little jars would make you sick if not kill you if you swallowed them.


How things have changed.  Now if someone drops a single mercury thermometer they evacuate the neighborhood.
