Subject: [K3CAL] Field Day Progress
All,
Thank you to all who attended the Field Day meeting Tuesday night. It was
very productive, and we have hammered out many details. Things are coming
together, and the excitement is growing. We are running 4A this year with a
VHF station and GOTA station. A fun time is expected.
We will be having one more Field Day meeting at the site location on
Tuesday, May 29 at 7pm. We will be discussing site logistics for antenna
layout, and station operating. We are also in need of someone to head up
the food / hospitality. This person will be helping in decide on foods and
quantities for the event. We have some good contacts for purchasing food
and drink. We will have good eats!
For those in attendance, don't forget to send me rosters of items that you
are bringing as discussed. You may send those and any other correspondence
to n3tzo at comcast.net. I will be putting together a tentative operating
schedule, and may contact those who have signed up, by email.
Again, thanks and I hope to see you at Field Day!
73,
Dave/N3TZO
