Would be interesting to know how (what condition) he left the antenna. And
did he notify anyone so that the repeater could be shut down before the
cable was removed? Was the cable entering the room from the roof disturbed
and should GSA and the engineer from the building check it out to make sure
there wont be any leaks?
Best Regards,

Subject: [K3CAL] Repeater information
The coax cable between the repeater and the antenna has been removed from
the tower at the Sunderland repeater site. As a temporary measure we have
installed an antenna on the roof of the building and have this connected to
our repeater. This will considerably limit our coverage as I am sure you
know. Bill Hackett our RO has notified the County and we are now waiting for
a response. We are hoping that the County will replace the cable at their
expense, if not it will be up to CARA to do it. As soon as I learn anything
I will pass it on through this reflector. I hope we can get this resolved in
short order but we do need to be realistic, this is the government we are
dealing with.

Bob N3PPH
