Actually back in the 50's - 60's this was done - beer cans were made of tin and could be soldered together easily. I think with today's very thin aluminum cans you might burn holes in the can before you could get them soldered with aluminum solder.

better idea, use adult beverage cans for a dual purpose antenna, antenna leads could be straws -we might get a wave ratio out of this but doubt if anyone would be standing
