Thank you for clarifying that Jack. The previous emails were not reading
that way to me and I did not want some of our quieter members to feel
unwanted. I will let you know what I am bringing once my wife decides and
tells me.

73,

There seems to be some confusion concerning the field day food activities,
let's see if we can clear things up:

There will be available all day, for the general public and any CARA
members, and there familys, wishing to consume, hot dogs, hamburgers and
chips. In addition to that any and all pot luck items will be available,
after 3:00 pm,with some additional snacks, in the kitchenette to add to that
fare. My XYL is making a pot of BBQ pork for sandwiches that will be located
in the kitchenette also. However, I am hopping those pot luck items will
also be used as side dishes for the chickin prepared, in the evening, by
Steve, N3IDX, so please keep that in mind when determining the quantity you
prepare for sharing. If you do not plan on coming until later, please bring
somthing yummy at that time.

There will be no "set schedule" for food consumption during the day, CARA
club member wise, as the function is an all day/night event and everyone
leaving at one time to eat most likely will not be feasible until we meet
together for dinner.

Again, I want to remind you that only water will be available through the
club so if you wish to bring any personal beverages of another flavor,
please do so.

Breakfast on Sunday is being handled by Dick, N3VKW, and is not covered in
these plans at all but some fruit and snacks should be left over. If you
would like to come for breakfast please let Dick, N3VKW, know you are coming
so he can be prepaired.

Hope this clears up any questions.

I thought it was hot dogs & maybe burgers during the day. (Or whatever Jack
can do with his working budget.) Pot luck for members & family at night.
Then breakfast Sunday morning for the overnighters & whoever shows up early.

Good evening ladies and gentlemen,

If you don't already know, I am in charge of making sure that we all have a
good dinner for Sat. night. What I would like to know is if there is any
thing you like to make, or have your XYL make, to bring for us.

Since this will be a dinner in late June some suggestions might be, but are
not limited to:

Potato Salad - Dave, N3TZO, has that one

Baked Bean dish- Brian , KB3WFV,

Cole slaw-

Watergate Salad-

Pasta Salad -

7 Layer Salad -

Meat Balls -

Fruit Salad -

Veggie Tray -

Fruit Tray -

Broccoli Casserole -

Ambrosia -

Any Other Good Food that is a Specialty of yours.

Please let me know what it is that you are bringing so that we do not end up
with a lot of the same things.

Remember that CARA is only providing ice cold bottled water to drink so if
you want something else please bring your own beverage.

Thanks for the input, Jack (KB3WUM)
