Bob,
I live down here on the river about 3 miles north of Broomes Island as the
sea gull flies. I have Verizon and usually get a pretty good signal. That's
no guarantee for Broomes Island, but it's at least hopeful!

Subject: [K3CAL] FD network setup
I am sure we all know it is Field Day week. I plan on being at our Broomes
Island site at 6PM Friday evening to setup the network. If you are going to
be running a station and want to make sure your computer will be OK with the
network you can come on by and test it out. I plan to be there at least a
couple of hours, if you want to try your computer out and are running a
little late give me a call at 410-487-2503 and I will wait around for you. I
did not think to check cell coverage when we were down there before,
hopefully my Verizon Wireless will be working.

Bob N3PPH
